The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts is an elegant, multi-purpose performing arts and events facility in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. The Center includes the Hanesbrands Theatre, the Sawtooth School for Visual Art, the Womble Carlyle Gallery and the Eleanor & Egbert Davis Gallery. Stimmel was responsible for the addition of a new circulation corridor, monumental stairs, and a cafe to what was originally the rear of the building, which enabled the move of the main entrance from Marshall Street to Spruce Street.
