Salem College is a four-year private liberal arts college and is nationally renowned as the oldest educational institution for women. Stimmel just recently completed the College's Student Center, a new facility that showcases the vibrant campus and acts as a hub for student activity. Improvements to the area include expanded plazas, brick seat walls, fountain restoration, walkway connections, lighting and landscaping, and contributes to the LEED certification design standards.
