The Salem Creek Connector and US 52 improvement project (U-2925) is a major transportation project just south of downtown Winston-Salem. This project is a vital step in making preparations for Business 40 improvements, scheduled to begin in 2016. The primary purpose of this project was to develop an amenities master plan and design requirements for the design/ build contractor to incorporate bicycle and pedestrian amenities, high quality landscapes and artistic elements envisioned in the Creative Corridors Master Plan.
