Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness

The Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness, a visionary project by Senior Services, Inc., fosters a vibrant community where individuals across all ages come together to engage in arts and wellness. In collaboration with 21 local organizations, the center offers diverse activities designed to build relationships rooted in empathy and understanding. The facility serves as a hub of creativity and connection, with dedicated spaces for partners like Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Novant Health, and Family Services, while others share spaces for community enrichment.
The center is thoughtfully designed around the “Main Street” concept, symbolizing a cohesive community within a single facility. It includes classrooms, a bandstand, a dance studio, performance spaces, healthcare clinics, and more. Highlighted features include the new home of the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center, a children’s daycare, and art studios, offering a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Stimmel proudly provided rezoning services, site civil engineering, landscape architecture, and comprehensive project coordination, ensuring smooth collaboration with end-users and partners.
