The new mixed-use development located downtown Winston-Salem in the Innovation Quarter, is comprised of more than 340 apartment units, approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space & a parking deck with over 850 spaces, all on 3.4 acres. As part of an agreement with the IQ, Grubb Properties developed residential housing & retail spaces wrapped around a shared parking deck, adding to the laboratories, offices, entertainment & common spaces already located at the downtown facility. The project was built on what is now the Innovation Quarter P1 parking lot, between North Patterson Avenue & Chestnut Street, adjacent to Wake Forest Biotech Place. The project was designed to meet growing demand for additional housing units, retail & parking spaces at the Innovation Quarter campus.
Link Apartments® IQ is part of Grubb Properties’ Link Apartments® brand. With a focus to efficiently deliver housing in desirable, resilient urban neighborhoods in a way that makes their product accessible to moderate-income residents, including young people in the workforce.
