Located near downtown Winston-Salem, Whitaker Park is a 220-acre manufacturing complex donated by Reynolds America. The park sits in a strategic last-mile infill location near Wake Forest University and five nearby interstates.
Whitaker Park West: Master Planning for the conversion of the former Reynolds American Whitaker Facility consisting of a 791,750 sq. ft. facility on 56 acres for Purple Crow. Services also included increased employee parking spaces, amenity areas, site circulation, & analysis of existing site conditions & utilities.
2nd Harvest Food Bank: Master Planning for the eastern portion of the site included incorporating existing buildings & new lots for industrial development off a proposed extension of Shorefair Dr. that would connect to Akron Dr. in the future. Services also included a rezoning plan for 19.9 acres of the site for the adaptive re-use of a former industrial building for multifamily & mixed-use commercial. Civil engineering for the Shorefair Dr. extension & additional cul-de-sac drive.
