Winston-Salem, NC
Located in the Core of the North District of the IQ, Wake Forest Biotech Place is a 242,000 square foot, multipurpose research and innovation center. The facility houses Wake Forest School of Medicine, the Childress Institute, Carolina Liquid Chemistries Corp, Allegacy Federal Credit Union, and a café and wine bar, Brioche Doree. The careful restoration and retrofitting of the buildings created a unique structure in only 18 months at a cost of more than $100M, making Wake Forest Biotech Place the largest capital investment for a single construction project in the history of downtown Winston-Salem.
